From May 8 to 10, 2026, PPM Laboratories, in partnership with Biocodex, organized “Women’s Health Day 2026”, an event dedicated to women’s health, held at the Chip Mong 271 supermarket in Phnom Penh. This initiative, focused on awarenessraising and prevention, is part of an educational approach to intimate hygiene, driven in particular by the Saforelle brand.

According to Tech Simo, PPM’s local Sales Director, this initiative aims to “improve women’s health and provide them with the knowledge they need to better understand and take care of their intimate hygiene”. Located on the ground floor of the shopping mall, the stand attracted a large and diverse audience from the very first day. For three days, visitors were able to benefit from free consultations provided continuously by a partner gynecologist.

A French brand, Saforelle is gradually establishing itself on the Cambodian market. “Recognized for its quality and safety, it enjoys growing support from Cambodian women and is increasingly recommended by gynecology specialists,” Tech Simo told the local media.

For her part, Lorène Metral, AsiaPacific Regional Director at Biocodex Laboratories, recalled that Saforelle is a reference brand in pharmacies in France and Belgium. Present in Cambodia for more than ten years, the brand now occupies a leading position there. Saforelle is widely prescribed by gynecologists, both in clinics and in public and private hospitals. It is now well known to the Cambodian public,” she explained, emphasizing the importance of educational communication aimed at women.

In parallel, the event also featured a scientific conference entitled “Understanding intimate hygiene and the five common mistakes women make”. Led by Professor Ek Mengly, a gynecologist, this meeting, held at the Fairfield Hotel, provided an opportunity to address key issues in women’s health and share practical recommendations.

Through this initiative, PPM and Biocodex aim to step up awareness of good intimate hygiene practices and contribute to better care for women’s health in Cambodia
